The "Grasshopper" started out in
life as a lime-green street-bike. It was converted to dirt-duty with a
knobby rear tire, and removal of the rear turn signals. As a trail bike,
it's almost acceptable. Ride it hard, and you'll get hurt.
Don't ask how I know. It's actually
faster than the KE-100, as it revs very quickly and it has lower gearing.
Gearing is N-1-2-3-4-5-6, with neutral at the bottom. Hard to get used
to. Its short wheelbase is almost like a bicycle, and it's very twitchy,
so it pays to be cautious. Spend an afternoon in the bush with the G-90
and KE-100, and you're sure to come back with a large smile on your face.
